It's not that you're behind. It's that nobody built this for how business works today.
You didn't build this business around modern systems — you built it around what worked. But the tools have moved on, and it's hard to know what's worth adopting, what's a fad, and how to bring your team along without a fight.
Everyone's talking about AI
But most of it doesn't obviously apply to how your business runs day to day, and nobody's telling you which bits are actually worth your time.
The last new system didn't stick
Someone introduced a tool or process before. It got rolled out, met resistance, and quietly reverted to how things were always done.
Everything still runs through you
The business only really works because you know how it actually runs. Modernising it means writing that down — without losing what makes it work.
Small, low risk steps. No pressure to modernise everything at once.
It starts free and in writing. Each step stands on its own, and you decide whether to take the next one. Nobody will ring you unless you ask.

- Where Do You See the Problem and What Would Fix It?

One of us has run the business. The other gets the people through the change.
Flow Logic is run by Warren and Tasmin Deetlefs. Between them they cover the two halves of bringing a business up to date that almost never come from the same place: how the work actually runs, and how the people doing it come along with the change.
Warren has spent more than twenty years running the day to day of small and growing businesses. Operations, accounts, stock, suppliers, customers, staff, the systems behind them, and the job of being the person everything comes through. He's set up a business from an empty unit, run one across Africa and Europe, and more recently built the online booking, payments and back office for an events company so enquiries turn into paid, reconciled bookings without anyone re-keying anything.
Tasmin spends her working week helping large organisations get thousands of people to take to new systems and new ways of working, and has done for nearly ten years. She trained in how people behave at work, started out in HR, and now does the part most owners have been burned on: working out who's going to struggle and why, what to say to them and when, how to get managers leading the change rather than tolerating it, and how to keep it going in the weeks after the training session when the old way is easier.
The premise is simple: businesses that got here the traditional way deserve practical help from people who've actually run one and actually done this, not a report from someone who hasn't. You work directly with the two of us, for a fixed fee agreed before we start, at a pace you control.
The questions established owners ask. Fair enough.
We've been burned by consultants before. How is this different?
Do we need to become an "AI business"?
We tried something like this before and it didn't stick. What's different?
We're a small team. Is this overkill for us?
What if we don't have time for a big project?
Do we need new software?
