Process improvement for businesses

Processes should make work easier, not create more of it.

When work relies on spreadsheets, emails, repeated admin or one person remembering how everything is done, the business becomes harder to run than it needs to be. Flow Logic helps you understand what is getting in the way, simplify the process and make practical improvements that stick.

The same information is entered more than once

Your team copies details between emails, spreadsheets, systems and documents.

Work gets stuck between people

Nobody is quite sure who owns the next step, so jobs slow down or disappear.

The process only works because someone knows it by heart

Important knowledge is held by one person instead of being clear and repeatable.

Small mistakes create extra work later

Manual handovers, inconsistent information and missed steps lead to avoidable rework.

What changes

What a better process looks like

A better process is simpler to follow, easier to train, clearer to manage and less dependent on people chasing work manually. It does not need to be complicated or automated from day one. It needs to work reliably first.

The Flow Logic method

How we make businesses work better

1

Understand

Find the process, bottleneck or handover that is creating unnecessary effort.

2

Simplify

Remove unnecessary steps before adding more systems or software.

3

Modernise

Improve the tools, information and ways of working that matter most.

4

Automate

Use AI and automation where they save genuine time, reduce errors or improve service.

5

Improve

Make the change practical, documented and easy for people to keep using.

No pressure to change everything at once. We start with what will make the biggest practical difference.

Where to start

Start by fixing one thing properly.

The Process Fix Sprint is a focused way to improve one process that is costing time, creating errors or relying too heavily on one person. We work with the people who actually do the job, map what happens today and create a practical plan to improve it.

Honest answers

Questions we often get asked

Do we need new software to improve a process?

Usually not. Most process problems can be improved with the tools you already have, by removing steps, making ownership clear and writing down how the work should flow. If a new tool would genuinely help, we will say so plainly. We do not sell or resell software.

What types of process can you help with?

Most day to day operational processes where work moves from one person or step to the next. For example: enquiries and quotes, customer or staff onboarding, ordering and stock, job scheduling, invoicing, approvals, reporting and everyday admin.

Will this disrupt the team?

We aim to keep disruption to a minimum. We work with the people who do the job in short sessions, and introduce changes in manageable steps alongside normal work.

What if we do not know where the problem is?

That is very common. The free Starter Pack helps you describe what is not working. The £195 Micro Audit helps identify where time is being lost, where mistakes happen and the one thing worth fixing first.

Can you help us implement the change?

Yes. The Process Fix Sprint includes hands on help making the change and a check in 30 days later to make sure it has stuck.
